Motor circuit breaker
Used with older Units. Cable connections with screw.
Protection component used for safe switching, thermal overload monitoring, and short-circuit protection of electric motors. It operates by integrating adjustable bimetallic trips for overload sensing alongside magnetic trips for instantaneous short-circuit disconnection, opening its main contacts when abnormal currents are detected. Once installed upstream of a motor, it prevents thermal damage, protects against phase loss, and allows manual disconnection for maintenance.
