Cable gland

(used also as part of a Camera assembly)

Sealing and strain-relief component used for securing electrical cables where they enter equipment enclosures. It operates by clamping securely around the cable outer sheath using an internal compression seal and locknut, creating a dust-tight and watertight seal that prevents environmental ingress. By absorbing mechanical tension, pulling forces, and vibration, it protects internal wire connections from being pulled out or damaged.
