Solid state relay

Semiconductor switching component used for controlling electrical loads without moving mechanical parts. It operates via an internal optocoupler that receives a low-voltage control signal and optically triggers solid-state power transistors, thyristors, or triacs to switch the load circuit on and off. Because it lacks mechanical contacts, it provides high-speed switching, silent operation, and high immunity to wear, vibration, and arcing.
