FREEDOM 5 is the further development of the fully automated Easy to Plate™ system.

It has to be noticed that, in the entire world, no other fully automated platemaking system for flexo plates was ever requested and installed in more than 100 production sites. Such ambitious goal was reached by Vianord in only a few years from the conception of the first ever modular platemaking-system. 

FREEDOM 5 features a batch washout unit (Plate Processor) with internal integrated punch, fourteen automatic Dryer-drawers, two light-finishers and eighteen stacker positions.

FREEDOM 5 is designed to quickly washout, dry and light finish solvent-washable, polyester-backed, analogue and digital flexo plates of any brand, up to a size of 132 x 203 cm (52x80 inch) and thickness up to 7 mm (0.276 inches).

Plates can manually be fed into a stand-alone system or automatically when the system is connected to one or more Exposures and Plate Imagers.

The system is equipped with a stress-accumulation early-warning-system and with several tools to enable remote-monitoring and remote-diagnostics.
